Rekonstrukce za provozu: Panorama Airport Building

The final phase of the comprehensive reconstruction of the Panorama Airport Building in Terminal 1 at Václav Havel Airport Prague is currently underway, where RUBY Project Management has been and continues to be responsible for key activities within the scope of design work. These are related to the comprehensive reconstruction of the building, carried out with regard to specific operational, safety and technical requirements.

Our responsibilities in the project:

• Preparation of documentation for the construction,

• Performance of author's supervision during the implementation,

• Laser scanning of the building and technologies for the purposes of precise digitization and checking compliance with the design in the construction documentation,

• Processing of documentation for the actual construction,

Context and complexity

The reconstruction is taking place literally in the middle of Terminal 1 and during its full operation, which requires:

• Consistent coordination of all involved professions,

• Adaptation of the construction process to the airport's operating mode,

• High emphasis on safety and continuity of operation,

• Careful evaluation of all changes during the implementation.

The project is an example of a technically demanding reconstruction in an exposed transport hub, where quality planning and precise implementation are of fundamental importance for the smoothness and safety of the entire process.
